Rsync 3

I thought I would mention that rsync version 3 has been released. The biggest change, in my opinion, is that the file listing can be generated incrementally which should improve performance and greatly reduce memory usage. It's already available for Debian Etch as a backport and I've put in a request for it to be backported to Ubuntu Hardy. Once it is readily available I plan to upgrade all of my servers to take advantage.
